The term “weight lifting” specifically refers to the lifts contested in an Olympic lifting competition- the clean and jerk and the snatch. Though these take place to be two excellent techniques to boost a wrestlers’ power, I have observed that the wrestlers that I train struggle to discover the correct approach. I blame this on the reality that I do not have a thorough background with the Olympic lifts and the reality that they are two of the most complicating lifts to understand. Even so, I have been capable to properly use derivatives of these lifts to improve the power in wrestlers. Under I will detail the leading three.

1 – Log Clean
The log clean is by far the preferred lift the wrestler’s I train like to carry out when looking to increase their power. I really feel it is just as efficient at building explosive hips as a conventional clean but it is easier to learn.

2 – Single Arm Dumbbell Jerk
This physical exercise is performed generally the same way as a conventional jerk would be only with a dumbbell. I like making use of dumbbells to mimic traditional Olympic lifts for a couple causes. One, they’re more rapidly. When you only have a certain amount of time to get a lift in, putting a dumbbell back and grabbing a distinct a single goes a lot faster than altering plates. Two, I really feel they are safer when only making use of a single arm at a time. Having a hand cost-free to redirect a falling weight from overhead, or to help catch a weight when you are bringing it down will greatly lower your chances of injury.

three – Single Arm Dumbbell Snatch
The single arm dumbbell snatch, much like the single arm dumbbell jerk, is, for the most element, performed the exact same way as a classic snatch would be. The single arm dumbbell snatch is excellent not only for instruction explosive hip extension essential for much better sprawls, faster takedowns, and more powerful throws, but also for establishing each shoulder and core stability.

44 thoughts on “Why Everyone was afraid of Scott Steiner: 4 hours of Huge Poppa Pump stories!”

  1. My favorite all time. And I love wrestling, all types all styles and many different performers. Scott Steiner will always be #1

  2. Scott Steiner was a badass fuck the rumors watch Monday Nitro 1997 Lex Luger vs Hulk Hogan for the WCW world heavyweight title after the match lugers title celebration a number of WCW wrestlers were celebrating with Luger but if you pay attention to Scott Steiner he walks up to a former WCW Superstar Alex Wright and forearms him to the side of his face Steiner looks back at him and smiles

  3. You heard from the Texas Rattlesnake himself. Steiner’s were based. Also, how long did it take for you to compile all this audio? 10/10 effort

  4. Scot Steiner was a great wrestler that got huge (from getting juiced up). Watch the early part of his career…what a wrestler. He is different from body builders that moved into wrestling!! I like his persona as big poppa pump!!! He was a great talker too.

  5. "The Big Bad Booty Daddy" One of the greatest names ever. Steiners, LOD, Harlem Heat, Doom, and Powers of Pain. Best tag teams, ever.

  6. 57:49 – Goldberg approves of Steiner working stiff. Goldberg cries over Regal working stiff. In case anyone ever wanted an example of a contradiction.

  7. Kevin Kelly speaks the truth about naitch and triple H people complain about flair having the same match all the time n if you seen him wrestle once you seen him 1k times but that’s because he had to wrestle people not up to par and didn’t want to take a chance and went with what worked on the other hand triple h really never has made anybody or had a tremendous match he def did sandbag poppa pump and i Remember being excited when I heard those sirens and saw bop walking down on raw finally came back to WWF but after that match I knew it was a short run. Hunter gets a lot of credit undeserved would he really be the 50x world champion if he didn’t screw the bosses daughter?

  8. 1:25:20

" _Freak on a Leash_ " is not a Limp Bizkit song, it’s a Korn song.
What’s odd was this clip was from 2001, when Korn & LB were still popular.

  9. Who was the girl who turned Scott down and got her ass grabbed lol in front of her bf sounded like torrie Wilson but I don’t ever recall her walking to the ring w him

  10. Just think of how much bigger Scott would have been if he did turn heel when Bill Watts wanted him to 6 years earlier!
